The Silicone Surfactant produced in the Chinese factory has excellent performance and Substitute for Momentive Niax® Silicone L-5388.SilibasePUL-5388 is an organosilicone copolymer used in the manufacture of rigid polyurethane low-density foams, open cells foam and in moisture cured prepolymers (OCF).

Alternative to Momentive Niax* Silicone L-5388 manufactured in China
Excellent resin clarity and compatibility, strong foam stabilization, high open cell content, excellent dimensional stability and extremely fine cell structure in wall cavity spray formulations
Very low density and fine cells foam in packaging foams
It effectively stabilizes foam also in presence of high amount of low polarity fillers with either polyether or polyester or natural oil based polyol and propellant mixtures using only propane-butane and dimethylether.
High versatility in OCF:
Effective stabilization of foam in the presence of high levels of low polarity fillers
Compatibility with polyethers, polyesters or natural oil based polyols, as well as with propane-butane and dimethylether as propellants
Excellent compatibility, chemical stability and low freezing point for long storage life under severe storage conditions in virtually all applications

An analog of Momentive Niax® Silicone L-5388.
Suitable for a variety of applications such as wall spraying and packaging foam, it is effectively compatible with a variety of polyol systems and low-trigger triggers, and maintains long-term chemical stability under strict caustic storage conditions.

Levels of Use (Additive as Supplied):
1.5% is recommended for preparing polyurethane rigid foam. Use levels for this type of foam can vary from 1.5 to 2.5 parts per 100 parts polyol.
